In Soussac, situated on the border of three départements (Gironde, Dordogne, Lot-et-Garonne), Christel and Philippe de Meillac welcome you to their house, by offering you a separate wing of their property entirely for your own accommodation purposes. This stone 17th century house, once a home for vineyard workers, looks out over orchards bearing (walnuts, figs, hazelnuts, plums, pomegranates) and rows upon rows of vines. Inside, an immaculate, refined setting awaits you - a 50 m2 living room-dining room with a beautiful stone fireplace, a fully-equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, each with a double bed, a bathroom with separate bath and toilet.
The Vrai Caillou estate is the ideal holiday home to give you the opportunity to recharge your batteries and take advantage of the natural surrounding beauty. Let yourself unwind and enjoy a wide range of activities such as walking on the slopes of the Butte de Launay, the highest point in the region or cycling on the Voie Verte or Green Path which connects Sauveterre-de-Guyenne to Bordeaux. Why not try canoeing on the Dordogne river or horse riding? These are just some of the activities on offer in this lovely area. Vrai Caillou is ideally situated in a region encompassing three major Bordeaux appellations (labels) - Sauterne, Saint-Emilion and Bergerac.
